Product test: Cádomotus Worldcup 4E

I love everything about triathlon – from long bike rides to fast competitions. Even though I usually compete in medium and long distance races, a short sprint triathlon really got me out of my comfort zone. Included: the Worldcup 4E from Cádomotus. And what can I say? I was immediately impressed by the shoe.

First impression: fits like a second skin.

The woven Matrix upper material is ultra-light, flexible and breathable – and you notice that immediately. No pressure, no play, simply a secure and stable fit on the foot. No problem even without socks, as everything is pleasantly smooth on the inside. No seams, no friction.

In use: fast, stiff, uncompromising.

I wore the Worldcup 4E during intensive interval training as well as at a local sprint triathlon. I was particularly impressed by the direct power transfer – not a single watt is lost. The carbon sole is extremely stiff and you can literally feel how the power is transferred directly to the pedals. This is a real advantage, especially for short, intensive distances.

What also impressed me: The shoe is designed for quick changes. The reinforced heel with a large entry loop and the clever design make the first transition super smooth. I was faster on the bike than ever before. 😀

My conclusion: a must-have for short-distance

For me, the Worldcup 4E is the ideal shoe for sprint and short-distance races. Fast, light, stiff – everything you need when it comes to speed and efficiency. Whether you are starting your first triathlon attempts or are an ambitious athlete in your age group, this shoe is a real recommendation. High performance at a fair price and definitely my new go-to cycling shoe for all fast formats!
